I have been practicing as a therapist since 2006, after completing my Master's in Art Therapy Counseling.  My undergraduate focus was in Fine Arts and Art History, which I believe was the beginning of my trying to understand humanity through an experiential lens.  I became interested in the field of psychology when I started to consider the healing qualities of the creative process.  I wanted to help others experience how it can show us ourselves and offer the opportunity for transformation.  That combined with my own experience through therapy planted the seeds for the work I am doing today.  While I still use art therapy when appropriate, I have greatly broadened my toolbox to offer many ways of helping.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified EMDR practitioner.

We all have the inherent ability to thrive but sometimes need support and guidance to get through blocks, old wounds, or current stressors.
